AM/NS Structromax offers excellent through-thickness properties achieved by stringent control over non-metallic inclusions and calcium treatment for inclusion shape control, enabling better handling of uneven loads and reducing the risk of lamellar tearing.

API-Certified Quality
for Offshore Applications

AM/NS Structromax is manufactured to meet API requirements for offshore applications, including structures used in oil and gas exploration, production, storage and offshore wind projects. AM/NS India offers API 2H Gr.50/60 and API 2W Gr.50/60 steel plates with high strength, weldability and fracture toughness, even in thick sections and low-temperature conditions. The plates are also designed for enhanced through-thickness performance and resistance to lamellar tearing, supporting the long-term safety and reliability required in offshore structures.
